After a fulfilling career as a teacher, I found it challenging to transition to inventing full time and I struggled to create educational games with mass appeal.

TCA helped me get unstuck by teaching me how to validate a unique and toyetic toy idea.

The program helped me find freelancers and price my materials so I could develop the best game possible with my resources. I made a sizzle video, pitch deck, and even built my own toy company contact list.

During the TCA Virtual Pitch event, I was selected to pitch my ideas to Spin Master which was an amazing learning experience. I learned what to ask and what to avoid while pitching. I loved this program so much!

Not only did TCA show me how to best position my toys for licensing, I made lots of friends in the toy industry and I love that! I don’t know what my favorite part was, it was really fun! For years I searched for a toy coach and couldn’t find one. And when you go to New York Toy Fair everyone had their big walls up-- you couldn’t find a way into the industry if you wanted one. Azhelle is really a trailblazer in the industry with this program.

The greatest lesson I learned in the TCA as a toy inventor is to trust myself. You are going to get a lot of "No" and you have to learn to let it roll off of you and keep on going. But in Toy Creators Academy, Azhelle teaches you what makes a toy toyetic and what the toy trends are.

This program helped me develop inventions that fit what toy companies are looking for. Even more, Azhelle gives 120 percent of herself to her students and she is amazing at what she does. You can trust that you're in good hands with her at the head of the class.
